Fenderprint

PRIVACY
POLICY

Effective date: August 10, 2026  ·  Last updated: August 10, 2026

The short version: Fenderprint saves your parking photo and location entirely on your device (and, if you enable iCloud, in your own iCloud account). We never upload your parking photos, your location history, or your identity to our servers. The only outside service we use is Firebase Crashlytics, which sends us anonymous crash and diagnostic reports — never your photos or parking locations.

Who We Are

Fenderprint is developed and published by Hrdlicka Apps LLC, based in Iowa, USA. You can reach us at support@hrdlickaapps.com.

What Fenderprint Does

Fenderprint helps you remember where you parked. When you save a parking spot, the app records a photo of your surroundings (e.g. a level sign) and your GPS coordinates, so you can navigate back to your car later. Optional Pro features add automatic level/row text recognition on that photo, a parking meter timer, saved parking history, Siri Shortcuts, and a Control Center widget.

Camera and Photos

When you save a parking spot, Fenderprint asks for camera access to photograph your surroundings — typically a level or row sign — so you have a visual reminder of where you parked. If Fenderprint Pro's AI level detection is enabled, that photo is processed with on-device text recognition (Apple's Vision framework) to read level/row signage automatically. This processing happens entirely on your device; the photo is never sent to Hrdlicka Apps or to any third-party server for this purpose.

If you choose to save your parking photo to your Photos library, Fenderprint requests permission to add it there. That copy is then governed by Apple's Photos app and iCloud Photos settings, not by us.

Location Data

Fenderprint uses your location in two ways:

Your location data is stored locally on your device (and, if you use iCloud, synced through your own private iCloud account the same way Notes or Reminders would sync). Hrdlicka Apps LLC does not receive, view, or store your parking locations on any server we operate.

Motion Data

With your permission, Fenderprint uses motion data (via Core Motion) to detect when you've likely just parked, so it can offer to save your spot automatically. You are always asked to confirm before anything is saved — motion data never triggers a save by itself, and you can turn this feature off anytime in Settings. Motion data is processed on-device and is not transmitted anywhere.

Data Stored On Your Device

Fenderprint stores the following locally on your device, and — if you're signed into iCloud — syncs it through your own private iCloud account:

None of this is transmitted to Hrdlicka Apps LLC. We have no backend database of your parking history.

Crash Reporting (Firebase Crashlytics)

Fenderprint uses Firebase Crashlytics, a Google service, to help us find and fix bugs. If the app crashes or encounters an error, Crashlytics automatically collects a crash log containing the stack trace, device model, OS version, and an anonymous installation identifier. It does not receive your parking photos, your location history, or any personally identifying information you haven't explicitly provided.

We do not use Firebase Analytics, Firestore, or Firebase Storage — Crashlytics is the only Firebase product integrated into Fenderprint. Google's handling of this diagnostic data is governed by Firebase's privacy documentation.

No Advertising, No Data Sale

Fenderprint contains no advertising SDKs and shows no ads. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with data brokers or advertisers, and we never will.

Siri, Shortcuts, and Live Activities

Fenderprint's Siri Shortcuts ("Park Here," "Find My Car," "Clear Parking") run through Apple's App Intents framework and open the app to perform their action — Apple, not Hrdlicka Apps, handles the on-device speech processing behind Siri. Lock Screen Live Activities display your current parking status using Apple's ActivityKit and stay entirely on your device.

In-App Purchase

Fenderprint Pro is a one-time purchase (no subscription) processed entirely through Apple's App Store and StoreKit. We never see, receive, or store your payment-card number, billing address, or any other payment detail — Apple handles all of it. What Fenderprint receives back is a purchase confirmation used to unlock Pro features, verified on your device via StoreKit's transaction system.

Push Notifications

Fenderprint may request permission to send local notifications, such as parking meter alerts. These are scheduled and delivered on your device and do not require any data to be sent to Hrdlicka Apps LLC.

California Residents

The CCPA/CPRA applies to businesses that meet certain revenue or data-volume thresholds. Hrdlicka Apps LLC does not meet any of them. In any case, Fenderprint does not sell or share your personal information as those terms are defined under California law. If you send a Global Privacy Control signal, we honor it regardless, since we already sell and share nothing.

European Users (GDPR)

If you are located in the EU/EEA, the limited personal data Fenderprint processes — your parking photo and location — is processed on the legal basis of your explicit consent, granted when you allow camera and location access, and is necessary to perform the core function of the app you've asked it to perform. This data stays on your device and, if enabled, in your own iCloud account; Hrdlicka Apps LLC does not receive or process it on any server we control. Crash diagnostics sent via Firebase Crashlytics are pseudonymous and used solely to maintain and improve the app.

If you purchase Fenderprint Pro, Apple acts as the merchant of record and processes that transaction under Apple's own privacy policy, not ours.

Children's Privacy

Fenderprint is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Because the app's core data (photos and location) is stored on-device and not transmitted to us, we have no visibility into who uses the app. If you believe a child has used Fenderprint in a way that concerns you, contact us at the email below.

Data Retention and Deletion

Because your parking photos, location, and history are stored on your device (and your own iCloud account, if enabled), you're in full control. Delete individual saved spots or your full parking history from within the app at any time, or delete the app to remove everything Fenderprint has stored locally. Deleting the app does not cancel your Pro purchase — that entitlement is tied to your Apple ID, and reinstalling the app and using "Restore Purchase" will bring it back at no additional charge.

Changes to This Policy

If we update this Privacy Policy, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Material changes will be communicated through an app update notice. Continued use of Fenderprint after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
