Solitaire Unlocked — Privacy Policy

The Short Version

This policy covers Solitaire Unlocked on both Android (Google Play) and iOS (App Store). We wrote it because app stores require one — but the honest summary is the box above.

Information We Collect

None. We, Hrdlicka Apps, operate no servers and collect nothing. Specifically, we do not collect your name, email address, location, contacts, device identifiers, advertising identifiers, gameplay statistics, or crash reports. The app contains no advertising SDK, no analytics SDK, and no crash-reporting SDK.

The app makes no network requests during gameplay. The single exception is the optional Tip feature: if — and only if — you choose to leave a Tip, the app communicates with Apple's or Google's in-app purchase service to complete that transaction. See "Tips and Purchases" below. We do not sell or share any personal information, and we have never done so.

Data Stored On Your Device

To make the game pleasant to use, Solitaire Unlocked stores a small amount of data locally on your device only (using SharedPreferences on Android, UserDefaults on iOS):

• Your in-progress game, so you can pick up where you left off.
• Your chosen draw mode (Draw 1 or Draw 3).

This data never leaves your device and is deleted when you uninstall the app.

Tips and Purchases

The app includes an optional Tip you may leave to support development. It is entirely voluntary and unlocks nothing.

We never see your payment information. Tips are processed entirely by Apple's In-App Purchase system (iOS) or Google Play Billing (Android). Your card number, billing address, bank details, and store account credentials are handled by Apple or Google and are never transmitted to us or stored by us. We have no ability to charge you directly.

What we receive. From Apple and Google we receive only the same aggregate, anonymized sales reporting every developer gets — totals, product, country, and date. These reports do not identify you personally. Apple and Google also provide us tax and payout documentation that likewise contains no customer identities.

What the app stores collect. When you make a purchase, Apple or Google collects and processes information under their own privacy policies, not ours — see Apple's Privacy Policy and Google's Privacy Policy. We are not responsible for their practices.

Nothing is stored about your Tip. Tips are consumable purchases: the app shows a thank-you for the rest of your session and keeps no record of it. We do not save a purchase history, receipt, or "has tipped" flag — not on our side (we have no servers) and not on your device. Because nothing is stored, there is also nothing to restore, and the app has no way to know whether you have tipped before.

Refunds. Because we do not process payments, we cannot issue refunds. Requests must go to Apple or Google Play directly.

Third-Party Services

The app uses no third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. The only third parties involved are the app stores themselves — Google Play and the Apple App Store — which handle the download and updates under their own privacy policies (Google, Apple). We receive only the aggregate, anonymized install statistics every developer gets from those stores.

Children's Privacy

Because the app collects no data from anyone, it collects no data from children. There is nothing to consent to, nothing to delete, and nothing to request. The optional Tip is a purchase made through the app store's own payment system; if a child uses your device, we recommend enabling Ask to Buy on iOS or purchase authentication on Android to require your approval before any charge. We comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and similar regulations by the simplest possible means: not collecting anything.

Changes to This Policy

If we ever change how the app works in a way that affects this policy — for example, if a future update added optional features that use platform services — we will update this page and the effective date at the top before that version ships. Continued use of the app after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
