Free Solitaire No Ads — Terms of Service

The Short Version

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Free Solitaire No Ads mobile application (the "App") on Android and iOS, published by Hrdlicka Apps ("we," "us"). By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms.

1. License to Use the App

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the App on devices you own or control, for your personal, non-commercial entertainment. The App is free of charge, contains no advertising, and offers no in-app purchases.

2. What You May Not Do

You agree not to:

• Copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the App.
• Reverse-engineer or attempt to extract the App's source code, except where such restriction is prohibited by law.
• Use the App in any way that violates applicable laws or app-store terms.
• Misrepresent the App as your own work or republish it under another name.

3. Intellectual Property

The App, including its code, design, graphics, and name, is owned by Hrdlicka Apps and protected by copyright and other intellectual-property laws. Klondike solitaire itself is a traditional card game in the public domain; these Terms cover our particular implementation, not the game's rules.

4. Your Saved Game

The App stores your in-progress game and settings locally on your device. We are not responsible for loss of this data — for example if you uninstall the App or change devices. There is no cloud backup, account recovery, or transfer mechanism, because there are no accounts and no servers.

5. The App Is Provided "As Is"

The App is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with every device. Some deals of Klondike solitaire are mathematically unwinnable — that's the card game, not a defect.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Hrdlicka Apps shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data or profits, arising out of your use of (or inability to use) the App. Because the App is free and collects no data, our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed one U.S. dollar ($1.00) or the smallest amount permitted by applicable law.

7. Updates & Availability

We may release updates that change or improve the App, and we may discontinue the App at any time. Because the App works entirely offline, a discontinued version already on your device will keep working; it simply won't receive further updates.

8. Termination

These Terms are effective until terminated. Your rights under these Terms end automatically if you fail to comply with them. You may terminate at any time by uninstalling the App.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Iowa, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or the App shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Iowa.

10. Changes to These Terms

If we change these Terms in a meaningful way, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
