The short version: Tidy Teaspoon does not collect, transmit, or store any personal data. It doesn't even request internet permission, so it has no technical ability to send anything anywhere. We don't know who you are, what you convert, or how often you open the app.

We collect nothing. Tidy Teaspoon has no backend server, creates no user account, and transmits no information about you or your usage to Hrdlicka Apps LLC or to any third party.
This matches the Data Safety section Tidy Teaspoon publishes on Google Play in full: it discloses no data collected and no data shared, and it will stay that way for as long as this policy says the same thing.
Most privacy policies ask you to take the developer's word for it. Tidy Teaspoon's Android manifest does not request the INTERNET permission at all, which means the operating system itself will not allow the app to open a network connection. This is enforced by Android, not by us.
The app requests exactly one permission, com.android.vending.BILLING, which is required by Google Play's billing library so the app can ask the Play Store whether you own the premium unlock. It grants no general network access, no ability to reach any server of ours, and no access to your files, camera, microphone, contacts, or location — none of which the app requests or uses.
A small amount of data is saved locally so the app can remember things between sessions. All of it stays on your device, and none of it is tied to an account, because there is no account system.
Nothing you type into the app — the values you convert, the ingredients you look up, the recipes you scale — is logged, profiled, or sent anywhere. Values you don't explicitly save as a favorite aren't retained at all.
Tidy Teaspoon offers one optional one-time purchase that unlocks the premium features. The transaction is processed entirely by Google Play Billing. We never see, receive, or store your payment-card number, billing address, or any other payment detail — Google handles all of it.
What the app receives back from Google Play is a purchase confirmation for this one product, which it uses to unlock the premium features. That confirmation is checked with the Play Store on your device and is not sent to us.
The optional home-screen widget displays a handful of common conversions you select. The conversions are calculated on your device by the same offline math the rest of the app uses, and your widget selections are stored locally alongside the app's other preferences. The widget sends nothing anywhere and requires no network access.
Like most Android apps, Tidy Teaspoon's local app data may be included in your device's own built-in backup to your Google account, the same way your phone backs up its other apps and settings. This is a feature of your Android device, not something Hrdlicka Apps does — we have no access to your backups and no way to see this data.
Tidy Teaspoon does not integrate any third-party analytics, crash reporting, or advertising SDKs. We do not use Firebase, Amplitude, Mixpanel, Crashlytics, or any similar service. There are no ads in the app and never will be. We don't know how many people use the app, what they do in it, or who they are.
Tidy Teaspoon's conversions are ordinary arithmetic against published reference values, and its ingredient densities come from a fixed table compiled from public baking references. There is no machine-learning model in the app. Nothing you enter is used to train any AI system, and nothing ever will be — there is no server for training data to be sent to in the first place.
The CCPA/CPRA applies to businesses that meet certain revenue or data-volume thresholds. Hrdlicka Apps LLC does not meet any of them, and in any case Tidy Teaspoon collects no personal information to sell, share, or opt out of. If you send a Global Privacy Control signal, there is nothing for it to act on — but we honor the spirit of it regardless, since we already share and sell nothing.
The GDPR applies where personal data belonging to EU residents is collected or processed. Tidy Teaspoon is available on Google Play in the EU, but availability alone doesn't trigger the GDPR — actual data processing does, and there is none here. We have no need for a Data Protection Officer, an EU representative, or an Article 13 notice-at-collection mechanism, because there is no personal data collected to give notice about.
If you purchase the premium unlock, Google acts as the merchant of record and processes that transaction under Google's own privacy policy, not ours.
Tidy Teaspoon is a general-audience kitchen reference tool suitable for all ages. Because we collect no personal data whatsoever, there is no risk to users of any age. Tidy Teaspoon does not collect, use, or disclose personal information from any user, including children under 13.
Because all data is stored on your device, you are in complete control. Saved favorites can be deleted individually from within the app at any time. To remove everything else, clear the app's storage in your device settings or simply delete the app. Nothing is retained on any server because nothing was ever sent to one.
Deleting the app does not cancel your premium unlock — that entitlement is held by Google Play against your Google account, and reinstalling the app and using "Restore Purchases" will bring it back at no additional charge.
If we update this Privacy Policy, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Material changes will be communicated through an app update notice. Continued use of Tidy Teaspoon after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
