These terms are short because Tidy Teaspoon is a simple, offline kitchen reference app. There are no accounts, no servers, and no user-generated content — just one optional purchase that unlocks the premium tools. By downloading or using Tidy Teaspoon, you agree to these terms.

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Tidy Teaspoon on your Android devices, subject to these Terms and Google Play's Terms of Service.
You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, disassemble, decompile, or create derivative works based on Tidy Teaspoon or any part of it. You may not rent, lease, loan, sell, or sublicense the app or any rights to it.
Volume, weight, and temperature conversion are free and always will be. They work with no purchase and no network connection.
Tidy Teaspoon also offers an optional one-time purchase ("Tidy Teaspoon Premium") that unlocks the ingredient density converter, the recipe scaler, the reference cheat sheets, saved favorites, and the home-screen widget. There is no subscription, no recurring charge, and no advertising anywhere in the app.
We reserve the right to modify the features included in Premium in future updates. We will not remove core functionality you have already paid for without reasonable notice.
All purchases are processed by Google Play Billing and are subject to the Google Play Terms of Service. We are not the merchant of record, and we never receive or store your payment details.
We do not process refunds directly. Refund requests must be submitted to Google Play, and Google's refund policy governs all purchases. In most regions Google handles refund requests automatically within 48 hours of purchase; after that window you may contact us at support@hrdlickaapps.com and we will help where we reasonably can.
If you are a consumer in the EEA or the UK, your statutory rights are unaffected by anything in this section. Note that when digital content is made available to you immediately upon purchase, you are typically asked to waive the 14-day right of withdrawal at the point of sale; where that right does apply, you may exercise it in accordance with Google Play's EEA and UK refund policies.
Your Premium unlock is tied to the Google account that made the purchase. If you reinstall the app or move to a new Android device, use "Restore Purchases" in the app to recover it at no additional charge.
Tidy Teaspoon is a cooking and baking reference tool. It is provided for general culinary use only, and is not intended for medical, pharmaceutical, laboratory, scientific, industrial, or any other application where a measurement error could cause harm or loss. Do not use it to measure medication doses.
A "cup" is not a fixed physical unit — its size depends on convention, which is why the app lets you choose between the US customary cup, the US legal cup used on nutrition labels, and the UK/metric cup. Results will differ depending on which you select, and a recipe that doesn't state its convention may assume a different one than you have chosen.
Ingredient weight-to-volume figures are inherently approximate. They assume the "spoon and level" measuring method described on the app's About Our Data screen, and real results vary with humidity, how finely an ingredient is ground, how it is packed or scooped, and brand-to-brand differences. Oven temperature and gas mark equivalents follow conventional published cooking charts rather than exact arithmetic conversions, because that is what recipes and oven dials actually use.
We make no warranty that any conversion, density figure, scaled quantity, or reference table is accurate or suitable for a particular recipe or purpose. You are responsible for verifying anything that matters to your result.
Tidy Teaspoon is intended for personal, non-commercial use. You agree not to:
The app is distributed through the Google Play Store. Your use of the app is also subject to the Google Play Terms of Service. Google is not a party to these Terms and has no obligation to provide support or maintenance for the app.
Tidy Teaspoon and all content within it — including but not limited to the app design, graphics, icon, compiled reference data, code, and branding — are owned by Hrdlicka Apps LLC and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. Nothing in these Terms transfers any intellectual property rights to you.
Tidy Teaspoon is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the app will be error-free or uninterrupted, and we make no warranty regarding the accuracy or suitability of any conversion, ingredient density, scaled recipe quantity, or reference figure it displays.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Hrdlicka Apps LLC disclaims all implied warranties, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Hrdlicka Apps LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including wasted ingredients, spoiled or failed recipes, or loss of saved favorites — arising from your use of Tidy Teaspoon, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Our total liability for any claim arising out of or related to these Terms or your use of the app shall not exceed the amount you paid for Tidy Teaspoon Premium, or $5.00 USD if you have not made any purchase.
Tidy Teaspoon is a kitchen reference app suitable for all ages. We do not collect personal information from any user, including children under 13. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
You may stop using Tidy Teaspoon at any time by deleting it from your device. We reserve the right to update, modify, or discontinue the app at any time without notice.
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Material changes will be communicated through an app update notice. Continued use of Tidy Teaspoon after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Iowa, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms not subject to arbitration below shall be resolved in the courts located in Iowa.
You agree to use Tidy Teaspoon only in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. You represent that you are not located in, under the control of, or a national or resident of any country subject to a U.S. government embargo, and that you are not on any U.S. government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Hrdlicka Apps LLC, its owners, and affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to your violation of these Terms, your misuse of Tidy Teaspoon, or your violation of any applicable law or the rights of a third party.
If you have a concern or dispute, you agree to first try to resolve it informally by contacting us at support@hrdlickaapps.com. Most issues can be resolved this way.
If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, you and Hrdlicka Apps LLC agree that it will be resolved through binding arbitration on an individual basis, rather than in court, except that either party may bring an individual claim in small claims court. You agree to bring claims only in your individual capacity, not as a plaintiff or class member in any purported class, consolidated, or representative proceeding.
This arbitration and class-action-waiver provision does not apply to residents of the European Union or the United Kingdom. If you reside in the EU or UK, disputes will instead be resolved in the courts of your country of residence, consistent with applicable local consumer protection law.
Entire Agreement. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Hrdlicka Apps LLC regarding Tidy Teaspoon, and supersede any prior agreements or understandings.
Severability. If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
No Waiver. Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of that right or provision.
Assignment. You may not assign or transfer these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign or transfer these Terms, in whole or in part, without restriction — for example, in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
California Consumers. Any optional purchase is billed and processed entirely through the Google Play Store, not directly by us.
